Mark Humphreys Appointed New CEO of Tengbom

Tengbom has announced the appointment of Mark Humphreys as its new CEO, effective September 2026.

An award-winning architect with more than 30 years of international experience across Sweden, the UK, and the US, Mark has played a key role in shaping Tengbom’s development over many years. As leader of the company’s largest business area and the Stockholm office, he has combined architectural excellence with strong business leadership and a collaborative approach.

Throughout his career, Mark has led several high-profile projects, including the redevelopment of Östermalm Market Hall and the Arlanda VIP Terminal.

In his new role as CEO, Mark Humphreys aims to continue strengthening Tengbom’s focus on architecture, collaboration, and sustainable organisational growth.

I come from the projects and from the business itself. I love being an architect, and I strongly believe in architecture’s role in society. For me, the role of CEO is about continuing to develop what Tengbom already does well — creating beautiful architecture that works in everyday life, strengthens businesses, and contributes positively to society,  says Mark Humphreys.
